Sometimes I spend so much time worrying about what I am going to do next, that I don’t realize I’ve just wasted all of that time worrying.
The time passed all on its own, and what did I do with it? I worried it away.
There is something bigger than my thinking brain that keeps me going from moment to moment. The sooner I realize that I am not in control of me getting through time, the sooner I can stop wasting that time on worrying about what to do to get through it.
Then instead I can be free to pay attention, be present, and maybe, just maybe enjoy the ride.
