It’s a good day to be happy. I know it’s common to wish this insane year would be over already, but I can’t help but think about all of the people who’s loved ones never even made it to see this year, be it crazy-terrible or not.
I agree that this year sucks, but if it got fast-forwarded somehow, then that would also mean we would zoom past, and essentially lose, a year of our precious lives. And there’s just no guarantee of how many years we get.
So, today might not be ideal, and it might be smack dab in the eighth month of a terrible year, but it could also end up being one of those days you make a lasting memory to love and cherish with your loved ones. For that, I say it’s a good day to be happy.
