Wasting time focusing on all of the things that are wrong with the world is no way to live. What’s the point in living if you give away all of your energy and attention to bad news, horrible acts and moronic behavior endlessly displayed online and on TV?
Considering how short our lives really are, I think the point is to find as many ways to bring joy and happiness to your days while you still have a chance.
Our energy and attention are too valuable and in such limited supply, that they shouldn’t be squandered on negativity. The responsible thing do with those precious commodities is to spend them on happiness, and on ways to elevate and uplift ourselves and those around us.
