I just heard about the passing last weekend, of one of my teachers from afar, Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh.
He was a Vietnamese Buddhist monk, peace activist, poet, and author of several incredible books on the practice and importance of mindfulness.
I’ve read several of his works, and have always grabbed any book by him that I’ve stumbled across.
He was a true Zen Master.
His message of mindfulness in everyday actions helped people the world over get in touch with the peace that is available to all.
I’m so grateful for all of the work that he shared in his time with us. I’ll continue to study his books, and practice mindfulness for the rest of my days.
As he promoted peace in his life, may he rest in peace ever after.
