When we think in human terms, it can be easy to feel hopeless, because humans are fallible. But I have a personal mantra that I remind myself with daily, which is the fact that there is always more to the story. And especially when things seems to get real dark and hopeless, I have to remember that there’s so much more than the fallible human perspective.
In the book of Matthew, scripture reminds us that, with God all things are possible. It doesn’t say that only some things are possible, or that things are only possible based on certain religious conditions. It says, and this is quoting Jesus here, that with God all things are possible.
This is just something to remember when it looks really bleak because of the cruel actions of some crummy people play-acting as false prophets. At the end of the day, they’re only just people, no matter how powerful they may temporarily seem. Keep the faith that with God every single one of us is loved and protected.
With God all things are possible, even reversing a long-running nightmare. Count on that.
