They say that hatred is a learned response. It comes from letting fear run your thoughts, and by practicing the feeling of hate.
So, if that is the case, then love and kindness can be practiced just as well, so that they are our (re)-learned automatic responses.
Our actions and our behavior come from what we choose to cultivate. If you want to be loving, and if you want to be kind, then practice being so.
