Exits have to be clearly marked in public buildings so people know where they can get out quick, in case of an emergency.

They’re not as clearly marked for social situations, like toxic relationships.

This is because any relationship that you’re in also includes yourself, and anywhere you go there you are, so leaving is tricky.

That is, until you realize that everything you’re involved in, is just the result of a choice you’ve made.

So, rather than look for the exit, simply make a new choice.

Not so tricky after all.
