Whenever I’m struggling, in particular with feeling way too righteous, it’s because I’ve temporarily forgotten that there are several viewpoints to any issue, not just my own.
We could all benefit from remembering this.
We all have our own viewpoints on issues.
This doesn’t mean they are all correct, but they do all exist. Denying that only adds to the problem.
So, if you find yourself heated in a rage of righteousness, see if you can cool down by remembering that there are indeed several viewpoints, and you just won’t always get the other people to see yours.
