Actually, all it takes is for you to decide you want to be, and then allow it to happen.
You don’t need anything or anyone to be happy. You don’t need certain conditions to be happy.
In fact, if you’re hanging your happiness on someone, something, or some type of condition, then you’re guaranteed to lose that happiness, right quick.
But, when you’re happy simply because you’ve decided to be, then the only way you could ever lose it, is because of you and you alone.
You just need to make the decision for happiness regularly.
Kind of like brushing your teeth. The more regular you make that habit, the better off you’ll be.
