You don’t have to believe your stressful thoughts.
After all, they’re only thoughts, and they go out as easily as they come through.
Byron Katie has a simple process of staying present and actually questioning your thoughts. She starts with any stressful thought by asking, Is it true?
She then goes on to ask, Can you absolutely know it’s true?
Then, What happens when you believe that thought? And finally, Who would you be without that thought?
It’s in asking these simple questions, that you realize how much power we give to fleeting thoughts.
Try it the next time you’re stressed out over an idea of something.
