Happy and Hungry

The key to living a really wonderful life is to fully appreciate everything you have, and still be eager to achieve more and do even better.

It’s what author Alan Cohen describes as being happy and hungry.

Be happy with your life as-is, cherish it and be grateful for all that you have, but keep the door open for more.

Sometimes people worry that if they’re so happy with how things are, that they’re telling God and the Universe that they don’t need anything else. But not appreciating exactly what you have, and refusing to be happy now, just leaves you miserable.

The only thing you can get from being like that is simply more misery.

Be happy now with whatever you have, but stay hungry, because being happy signals God and the Universe to keep piling on more and more helpings of those wonderful blessings.
