It’s a good idea to periodically check in with yourself, right in the moment, notice where you’re holding tension, and release it.
Are you clenching your jaw? Are you gripping too tight to whatever you’re holding in your hands? Sometimes, I even notice that I’m either squeezing or flexing my toes, for no other reason than it being the physical manifestation of the tension I’m feeling!
That’s why it’s important to check in with yourself. Chances are that you’re holding some sort of stress in your body, without even realizing it.
Once you do realize it, you can let go, and release the tension that you’re holding in your body.
Notice, and release. You’ll be much happier because you did.
