If you want to show someone that you truly care for them, listen to them.
If you want to learn how to strengthen your relationships, learn to listen more than you talk.
If you want to solve a dispute you’re having with someone, listen to what they have to say.
Don’t just listen so you know what to say back to them in response, listen to them so that they can be heard. Sometimes you don’t even need to respond.
Sometimes, if you just show someone that you hear them, that’s all that is needed to resolve the issue.
Take care to truly listen to others, and realize what a superpower it really is.
