Work is important for a successful, rewarding life. Playtime is just as important, to have fun and enjoy the life you’ve worked to create.
And it’s just as important for all of it, to take the time to rest.
It can’t be all work, all the time. It can’t be all play, all the time.
Rest is vital.
Prioritizing rest is actually being proactive. We are supposed to have our time of rest, to ease up, step back, and reflect on all that we’re creating.
After all, what’s the point in having roses, if you don’t ever stop to smell them? What’s the point in creating a successful life, if you don’t ever step back and appreciate it?
Take the time to appreciate your life. Take the time to rest.
