Our society is so fast-paced, that it feels like pushing through it is the smarter way to stay ahead of the game. But then you’re not even participating in the game of life. You’re pushing to get ahead, and missing the whole point in the process.
There are so many unknown variables to life that it can seem effective to push for solutions. But oftentimes all of that pushing past problems, will just push you away from the answers as well.
We tend to want to push out thoughts of distress from our minds, but it’s so much more powerful to calmly pause and slow that momentum of fear instead.
It’s from that calm space, from pausing rather than pushing, that we can easily move towards thoughts of love and peace.
