Traditions are lovely, as long as they’re uniting people to their history and to each other.

If the tradition has worn out it’s relevance, or if it’s getting in the way of love and respect among people in the present, then the tradition can be left behind with yesterday’s news.

What’s important is now, and respecting who’s here right now.
