The thing about practicing abstinence, from any vice, is that it’s a whole lot easier if you focus more on what you’re gaining rather than on what you’re being deprived of.
It’s likely more effective that way as well.
So, rather than harping in on what you are abstaining from, think about what positive thing you get to do instead.
