“Nice” can get a bad rap because most of the time it comes across as insincere.

And, that’s because, frankly, it reeks of effort.

Nice people seem to work at being so, and it’s usually for ulterior motives.

Whether it’s an outright manipulation, or simply a tactic for people pleasing, acting nice tends to rub people the wrong way.

Kindness, on the other hand, is well received.

Because, kindness is what we all need.

And, kindness is what we should all give.
