I believe that your heart is much more than a simple organ that pumps blood.
I believe your heart is the center of your feelings.
Why else do we feel emotional pain, and amorous love in our heart center?
Why do we instinctively grab at our chests when we feel joy, fear, concern or pride?
We draw little hearts when we’re in love, and rip those same heart shapes in two when we’re hurt.
We say we’re heartbroken at a loss, and that it does our heart good to see a loved one thrive.
So, if it’s only a glorified blood pump, then that is an awful lot of attention being paid to a simple organ.
But it’s not.
Our hearts are our emotional centers.
They’re intelligent and our connection to our inner spirit– our higher being.
That’s why I believe it’s wise to lead with your heart.
