Release

Release the past. Release the pain that you’re holding onto.

I know you want to feel vindicated. I know you want to protect yourself from getting hurt like that again. But holding onto the pain and reliving the past is only causing you to hurt yourself.

Release it. Move forward and don’t look back.

Release expectations of how things are going to turn out. Otherwise, you’ll be so focused on what you’re expecting that you won’t see what’s really unfolding right before you.

Most of all, release the resistance you have to what’s going on. What’s going on isn’t nearly as painful as your resistance to it is.

You can certainly can make things extremely uncomfortable for yourself by holding on to resistance.

So, release all of that garbage, and get focused on the present. Then deal accordingly.

You’ll find life to be much more pleasant that way.
