You can’t wait until things are perfect to begin whatever you want to begin. It will never have a chance to become anything great, let alone perfect, if you don’t begin and get after it.
Jen Sincero says that “procrastination is one of the most popular forms of self-sabotage because it’s really easy.” It’s so easy to procrastinate and put off doing that thing because you’re waiting until all of the elements are just right. It’s easy, but destructive. You’ll waste so much time that you could have had getting to great, if only you hadn’t procrastinated.
So just begin. You’ll learn along the way. Even better, there’s so much joy to be had in the learning you do along that path to greatness.
