It seems to me that we’re need of an outbreak of empathy.
Empathy being: the ability to understand and share the feelings of another.
We’re not all as different as we like to think we are. Whatever hurts us, most likely hurts another.
With empathy you remember how it feels to be on the receiving end of an attack, and (hopefully) it can help you pause and decide against lashing out a similar attack on another.
So with that, it seems to me that empathy is a powerful gift that we all should procure, and expose it to as many people as we can. We need an outbreak of empathy.
