Make a difference

There’s so much chaos going on in the world right now, moving at such a fast pace, and it feels overwhelming. It feels so big. If you ever think the world’s problems are so insurmountable, and that you have no power to affect any change, just remember this gem of quote from the Dalai Lama:

If you think you are too small to make a difference, try sleeping with a mosquito.

Leave it to the Dalai Lama to effectively empower while also be so cheeky in his analogy that it makes you chuckle. Anyone who has had a mosquito in their room can attest that no sleep could be had until that tiny little buggar was found and dismissed!

As much as that tiny pest can be influential, you are also a powerful force for change in this world. You matter. If you want to see the planet move towards being a more calm, peaceful, and loving world, then start by being the example. We each have the power to affect change in that direction by being loving, peaceful and calm ourselves.

We each have the power to make a difference, and be the change we wish to see in the world.
