Arrogance can seem like confidence at first glance, but it’s just a ruse.
Arrogance is a cover for deep insecurity, and often shame.
The problem is that an arrogant person fools themselves more than anyone else. They’re so busy hiding behind arrogance, that they lose touch with themselves.
The best way to gain a sense of self, and true confidence, is to drop any act and stand in your truth, no matter how scared you are at first.

The Human Ego needs to be managed throughout our lives.. and it requires personal effort. Many succumb and donβt do any introspection to improve, I feel.
What a great way to put it, the ego needs to be managed throughout our lives. I agree. And, you’re right, many don’t do any introspection, which is needed. Thank you for sharing this.
