It’s so vital that a day for it was built into the week.
Or at least it was supposed to be there until we decided to fill it with chores and activities.
We’re so busy now, that we think we’re resting when all we’re doing is distracting ourselves from all the obligations that we don’t really want to be saddled with.
Those distractions are not rest, they’re just more activities.
We need to learn how to rest again.
One way or another our bodies will eventually get it, even if it means getting a serious medical issue, or worse.
