The thing about the idea of “never” is that it can only ever be proven as a threat.

Forever is a long time to check to see if something will never be.

How could we ever really know if whatever has been threatened truly never comes about?

It’s hyperbolic at best, but really just plain silly.

If you want to be taken seriously, never say never.
