Darkness isn’t even really a thing.

All it is, is just an absence of light.

You don’t flip a darkness switch to darken up a room. There’s no such thing as a darkness switch, only a light switch.

The only way to have darkness happen, is to actively block out the light.

And you don’t need to ever worry about combating darkness.

All you have to focus on is bringing more light.

This applies metaphorically as well as practically.
