Simple Habits

I can’t go to sleep without having brushed and flossed my teeth. It’s a daily habit I developed because taking care of myself is important to me.

I also make sure each night that I’ve reminded myself of my blessings, and have practiced gratitude for them.

And I make sure that I practice forgiveness, so that my heart feels lighter before I go to sleep.

These habits aren’t always a piece of cake. Sometimes I feel annoyed that I have to do them. But once I do, I’m so happy that I did.

Taking care of myself is important to me. And it all comes down to these simple habits.
