Love Yourself. It just might be the most important thing you can do. It’s certainly fundamental to a healthy self esteem.
A healthy self esteem enables you to make good choices for your life. Making good choices for your life, can make a it a joyful one. A joyful life is one worth living. That’s something to love.
Kamal Ravikant wrote a profound little gem of a book, called Love Yourself Like Your Life Depends On It. I love that he nails the point right there in the title. Because, in essence, your life truly does depend on it.
You’re stuck with yourself through every moment of your life. There’s no getting away from yourself. Trying to do so, would only make whatever misery you may be in so much worse. I imagine any recovering addict would agree. So, the best thing you can do then, is Love Yourself.
Besides, loving yourself reveals to you how it feels to be loved, so that you know then what you should expect from all the others.
~ Much love.
