We can know some things about something, but not really know the whole thing. We just don't have access to all of the information, all the time, to fully know the whole story. It might be best to remember this, whenever you find yourself jumping to any conclusions.

Knowing
It's wise to remember that what you know is only one perspective out of billions. What you know is only what you know. It may seem like what you know is what is known by everyone, but even if it is darn near identical to someone you're close to, they still will just know it … Continue reading Knowing
Truth
Make it simple, and tell the truth. That way you don't have to work at concocting some elaborate tale. The truth may not be pretty and it may not be entirely comfortable, but it is the easiest and kindest thing you can say. Now, all of that is true, but it still needs a caveat. … Continue reading Truth
Snippet
The things you see are only a fraction of the story. If you allow yourself to be open to see more, you'll find that there's so much more to the story than you ever considered possible. Awareness starts with realizing that you're only seeing just a snippet of the story.
Awareness
The cool thing about tapping into Awareness, is when you realize that the things you are sure you know all about, are actually only that way in your mind. You're seeing things only as you think they should be. You're thinking it all up. When you become aware of your thinking, rather than believing that … Continue reading Awareness
Assumptions
The more I learn, the more I realize that I just can't know everything. This is especially true with other people's experiences. We each experience life from our own unique perspective. So it's a little silly and pretty foolish to make assumptions about what someone else is going through. You could have had very similar … Continue reading Assumptions
Defenselessness
This may sound counterintuitive, but whenever you feel the need to defend yourself, you're really just creating an enemy to defend against. There's always more to the story besides our own self-focused perspective, and we get to be in charge of our reactions. So when we find ourselves in the middle of a fight, defending … Continue reading Defenselessness
Until it’s Over
It's important to remember that the story isn't over, until it's over. In other words, if you still have a spark in you, then you still have a chance to achieve your dreams. Things may look grim and final, and yet a breakthrough could be just around the corner. So keep your head up, and … Continue reading Until it’s Over
Words
I love words. Obviously, I do, as I'm a writer. But words can be used deceptively. A person's actions speak so much more clearly about their character than the words they use. And their energy is actually much easier to read. People can try to spin a story with their words, but if you pay … Continue reading Words
How do you do?
I believe the phrase: The way you do anything is the way you do everything. It's all about your mindset. And it's very telling when you realize your own innate consistency. If you're kind and respectful to strangers, and people you may think have nothing to offer you, then it's natural for you to automatically … Continue reading How do you do?
