Start Small

A new year gives us a blank slate to start over, and lots of us choose resolutions wanting to start a new good habit and drop some bad ones.

But we tend to put a lot of pressure on becoming a whole new person, and most of us abandon the resolutions within a few weeks, sometimes days.

The easiest and most effective way to help stay the course is to start small, and keep making tiny improvements each day.

The small steps will compound into a big change if you keep at it.

So make it small enough to easily maintain, do it and then forget about it until the next day.
