Death is a part of every day of our life. Even if we don’t see it, it looms overhead.
It’s strange that it has to happen, this cap on our life. Perhaps it’s designed that way so that we know we have to appreciate our life while we do get to live it since it has an ending.
I think about it more and more now, especially since I’ve lost so many to it.
Is it a final ending, or is it just a bridge to a new experience past this life?
Which is a more comforting thought? That we can finally rest after death, or that death simply reveals the next level? Right now, I’m not sure.
