We all are surrounded by individuals in our lives that we care about, that we think are good.

And yet, they’re people. And people suck.

So, how are these individuals not the same as the people that suck so bad “out there” and not be rotten themselves?

Maybe they are.

Or maybe we don’t judge the ones we choose to care about as harshly as we do the jerk on the highway, on the news show, or down the hall.

Perhaps it’s a judgement thing.
