History is all about things that are done. It’s not advisable to always dwell on it.

However, it can be a great teacher, especially if you see things repeating.

The benefit of history is we can see how things turned out when certain choices were made.

So, if those results weren’t ideal in the current similar situation, thanks to history we know to make a different choice for a different result.
