Calling someone mediocre as an insult just shows that you were always going to insult them, no matter what. It could have been for too much of something, or for the lack of something else, but because they’re simply acceptable, you just zing them with being “mediocre”.
Goes to show that humans can gripe about anything if they put their minds to it.
Now, of course if you’re happy with being acceptable, own your badge of mediocrity.
