Unbecoming

It’s true that we have no business worrying about what others think of us, but I don’t believe it ever helps to actively behave in an unbecoming or crude manner.

Sure, we shouldn’t care what others think of us, but acting crudely seems to deliberately be asking for an opinion.

We are all stuck on this one planet together, might as well try to make your little corner of it as pleasant as possible, and that includes your behavior.
