Pain is awful, but can also be a good thing.

It signals you to get help, to heal. And pain means you feel, you care.

Numb is worse than pain.

Numb means you’ve lost the ability to feel. It means you don’t even need a signal to heal, because it’s most likely too late.

Pain is awful, but important. Numb seems better, but is much scarier.
