The expression “all right” is funny because nothing is ever completely all right.

We get mostly right, or somewhat right, but those aren’t as demonstrative as saying “all” right.

Perhaps because subconsciously we know it’s an absurd exaggeration, that let’s us off the hook from even trying to be mostly right.

Or perhaps it’s just a harmless expression, and we’re totally okay to use it.
