It’s the month when traditional “summer stuff” starts wrapping up. Time to get in the last of those vacations, beach excursions, and pool days before the new school season starts and business starts getting serious for the upcoming fourth quarter.
Admittedly, August has always felt like the “Sunday afternoon of months” complete with it’s own version of “Sunday Scaries.”
But, once Labor Day comes around, I remember how much I love the fall season and all it brings with it.
So, while August is here, and as we wind down the season, it’s a perfect time to think about the highlights, and everything we can be grateful for what happened this summer.
