The idea to “kill them with kindness” is catchy because it seem so aggressively ironic.
In actuality you shouldn’t focus on the “kill” part, but only concern yourself with the “kind” bit.
The idea is, if they’re truly awful, the fact that you remain kind will “kill” them internally by their own pettiness. They’re doing all of the heavy lifting in that regard.
Just focus on being kind.
Apparently it’s even more fun to do so, than originally thought.
